Dr. Alex Hoop, DPT, Physical Therapist
Dr. Hoop obtained his Bachelor of Science of Athletic Training from Aquinas College where he
ran cross country/track collegiately. He then went on to acquire his Doctor of Physical Therapy
from Grand Valley State University in 2022. Dr. Hoop has been a licensed athletic trainer since
2019 and enjoys working with local youth/high school athletic programs. He is excited to begin
his career as a physical therapist and to serve the Freeland/Midland areas. He has strong
interests in the areas of general orthopedics, sports medicine and prophylactic care. During his
time away from work he enjoys running, backpacking/camping, golfing and enjoying the
outdoors.
