Spring Into Movement: Staying Active and Pain-Free This Season

Staying active this summer at Midland Sports Rehab and Freeland Sports RehabMar 24th  2026

As spring arrives, many people are eager to get back to the activities they love—running, golfing, gardening, and more. After a long winter, though, your body may not be as ready as your motivation. Jumping back in too quickly is one of the most common causes of spring injuries.

Muscles can be tighter, joints less mobile, and overall strength and endurance may have decreased. The key to avoiding setbacks is easing back in with a smart, gradual approach.

Always a good and friendly experience! I had not been going there like I used too. Which was always a good experience but my insurance ran out. I recently went for a consultation on several matters. They got me in right away. Glad to see some of the staff I used to work with. I only had a consultation but I was extremely happy with the results I had and the compassion I received. Very easy to talk too and ask questions. Didn’t feel rushed at all and Dr entertained new sometimes unrelated questions as they came up or he brought up new items to consider. Very satisfied with my visit and money very well spent. I’ll be going back for sure if new issues arrive.

As a chronic pain patient with my spine and sciatic nerve, I have been in physical therapy most my life, but most recently two years with Active Orthopedics and now Midland Sports Rehab. They have served me well and kept me going with my active lifestyle. Great service, knowledgeable, caring and lots of options for treating my pain while helping me keep strong. I am happy and pleased my doctor sent me here.

The best of the best! Dr. Berard has made my life sim much better. I can move around more finally. The massage therapy has also done wonders and finally not to mention the Acupuncture. I am in a lot better place than I was before seeing them after surgery didn’t help. Highly recommend!
